How to Flash Android 8.0 Oreo on Xperia XZ Premium

  1. Back up all important data you have on your device.
  2. Download Xperia XZ Oreo update file (Oreo G8141 47.1.A.3.254 Commercial and Journalists_1309-9931_47.1.A.3.254_R1B) from here.
  3. Switch-off your phone and press Volume Down button and then connect your phone to your Windows PC.
  4. Unzip the downloaded firmware file into a folder. Delete the Partition folder from the extracted file, and then add Userdata (download from here) in the unzipped folder.
  5. Finally, run the NewFlasher.exe file and wait until the process complete. After successful installation, disconnects your phone from the PC. (Source – 1, 2)
