Huawei has already confirmed that Honor 7X will get the stable EMUI 8.0 (Android Oreo) update in second quarter of 2018. Recently, the device was updated with Face Unlock and AR Lens features. If you own an Honor 7X and like to be part of the Beta testing, here is how to join the program.
Before start, it is recommended that users to back up their data before testing, as the Beta is a developer version of the OS and might be unstable. To join the beta program, users should download and install the beta APK on their device manually. Download beta APK for Germany [here], for Italy [here], for Spain [here] and for France [here]. Install the APK manaully just like any other APK file and follow the instruction. – After installing the APK, open the app and accept terms & condition. – In the next screen login with your Huawei ID (if no HW ID, tap register and create a new ID). – After login, select Personal > Join Project > Available Project.
