The application does not rely on local virus definition to detect malicious apps; instead, it uses BitDefender’s in the cloud antivirus services to check all apps and makes sure no e-threats slip by for lack of timely update. Moreover, the Application Audit feature allows you to keep track of each application’s permission requirements, displaying which application try to access internet or sensitive data. It will also indicate which software may charges on your bill. BitDefender Mobile Security currently is in beta and the company working hard on adding a host of new functionalities to add extra layers of security for your device.
